Colour collar by different groups
Hi All, I'm looking to display the collar of boreholes based on different group/categories, —for example, based on the lithologies encountered at the end of each borehole or whether ore was intercepted. This would help me quickly visualize and understand the zoning of the ground. Is there a way to achieve this in Leapfrog?…

Bringing It All Together: Drillholes, Geophysics & More
Mining workflows are complex and they rarely happen in silos. Between drillhole data, geochemistry results, geophysics, and surface mapping, there’s a lot of information coming in from different sources. Trying to interpret it all separately can lead to missed insights or conflicting conclusions. That’s why having a shared…

Importation of Pointcloud survey as a .rcp or .e57 format into Leapfrog works
Hello everyone, Has anyone had experience importing point cloud surveys into Leapfrog, specifically in .rcp or .E57 format? We have a high-resolution, georeferenced phototelemetry scan of a tunnel lining that we're looking to import into our Leapfrog model. We're considering converting the file into an OBJ format, as this…

measurement conventions structural geology
First of all: THANKS for this really great visualisation tool! I am a retired Earth Science Professor (Structural Geology & Geoinformatics), still teaching my subjects occasionally. Trained in Germany, using a Clar Gefügekompass, I have always used "Dip Direction (Azimuth)" & "Dip" for my measurements, both planes and…

why I am getting higher FOS instead of getting lower value?
I am doing a slope stability analysis. I am trying to compare the factor of safety including seepage and without seepage. First, I calculated FOS using slope-W and I got 1.290 but when I used the seep-w results to do another slope w analysis and I am getting 1.445 when I am including seepage effect. Why am I getting higher…

How to call extension from GS script with relative paths?
Extensions can currently be called using hardcoded paths, for example: SETINI ENTRY.PARAM1=5 GX C:\Users\v.savenije\Documents\Geosoft\Desktop Applications\python\entry.py but to distribute the gs script, all paths need to be relative of course, something like SETINI ENTRY.PARAM1=5GX python\entry.py But this doesn't work.…

Tip to prevent a fault from intersecting the boundary
I have four seams (Veins) modeled from 2D cross-sections, as shown in the attached image. In my geological model, I’ve introduced two faults: F.A and F.KT4. However, these faults do not intersect all coal seams. Specifically: Fault F.A only cuts the upper seam (Vein 1), Fault F.KT4 cuts the three lower seams (Veins 2, 3,…
