Is it possible to create a realistic fly-through in Geo using either the Movie tool or some other method? If not what are the alternatives with a model? Thanks

SEEP/W What boundary condition should be used during a steady state seepage model of a dam.
Hi I am a practicing Dams and Tailings engineer from Australia, routinely I measure seepage flows out of a dam however there is confusion within my industry about what boundary condition should be applied to the downstream area. In reality most flow does not rise to the surface and travels in the foundation downstream.…

Geostudio 3D model creation
I've attended Geostudio webinar held on 17th June. Based on my previous experience, this was truly frustrating to create 3D model in stability analysis software, and I had a bit of a feeling that this would be more easy and user friendly if 3D models be constructed in 3D modelling software such as Leapfrog etc.

Offset Mesh to Display Surface Features
I'm trying to create a mesh that is a copy of my topography, but offset 1-2 units above my topography. I have several layers I would like to appear on top of my topography, but I can only drape one layer at a time, as opposed to several. My theory is I can set the elevation of each layer to an offset mesh that is just…

Automatically displaying new channels
Hi, I'm writing a python script to be used in an extension that will have the result of creating a number of new channels. What I have written as a test so far is able to create the new channels and put the calculated information in it, but I am unable to have them display automatically. Someone has already asked a very…

I have collected a magnetic gradiometer data using proton percesion magnetometer.
I have collected a magnetic gradiometer data and would like to know If I can apply the routine filters such as high pass, derivative and analytical signal transformation as well as depth estimation methods such as spectral analysis, source power imaging technique and 3D Euler deconvolution to the gradiometer dataset?
