How do i make a Movie with orientation on Leapfrog_
Hey! i recently started doing some videos from my leapfrogworks projects to present them more easily to clients, but i can´t find a way to make them get the orientation of the scenes, i just need the sphere with the plunge/azimuth or the axis lines. Any idea on how to make it? Thanks for any answer!

Some questions about the Distance Function Object
Hello, I am using the Distance Function to create a block model from my fault system. Please refer one of my previous question: https://community.seequent.com/discussion/1995/is-it-possible-to-export-a-mesh-to-a-block-model#latest 1) If I have multiple objects considered in Distance Function. Am I correct that the number I…

Regarding the geologic contacts on the surface
Hi everyone, I want to ask if there is a faster way of generating a shape file of the surficial geologic contacts besides manually drawing polylines along the said contacts. The contacts are the edges of the meshes of respective lithologies. Thank you!

Feature Request: Layer PDF Export of Cross Sections
It would be nice to add the ability to export layered PDFs from Cross Sections. You are already able to build the cross sections with individual elements ordered for viewing. If each of these elements could be a layer, it would make editing in graphics software much easier (especially with sections that are updated…

Ignoring faults in certain (soft rock) lithologies
I am modeling a geological situation in Leapfrog Works 4.0 with several faults, an alpine sedimentary (hard rock) sequence and some small scale soft rock cover (moraine and swamp sediments). As some of the faults also cut through areas wit soft rock cover, the faults do affect also these lithologies. Is it possible to…

How to create GIS contour from numeric model at certain elevation
Hello everyone, I knew that there is a tool in "Cross Sections and Contours", which can create contour for an assigned unit. However, I'm looking for a tool in Leapfrog that can help me to create a contour map from my entire numeric model at a specific elevation, or even cross section. Then I can use the contour in GIS…

Is it possible to export a mesh to a block model?
Hello, I'm working with a fault system which contains multiple mesh for fault surface. I'm curious about if it is possible for me to convert/export those fault mesh into a block model. I'm looking for a block model that can show me if my fault system cut through individual blocks or not (1 and 0, blocks with faults, and…

Leapfrog Works - Export to CAD in Millimetres
Dear community, I exported a geological model in DWG format to our client who need to import it in their own model. unfortunately the client's unit system is millimetres whilst we produced our model in Metres. Is it possible to change the model unit system or export in another unit? Many thanks for your advice, Best…

Leapfrog 2021.2.3 Software Update: Geo, Edge, Works & Geothermal
Before installing the software update, please ensure your projects are
backed up. Please
install Leapfrog Geo 2021.2.3 as soon as possible to resolve an issue with
Interval Selection (IS) created off grouped columns, as well as other minor
issues. With

Importing Autocad drawing layout into a cross section layout
Dear community, I was wondering if it's possible to import a Drawing Layout from Autocad in Leapfrog Works. We are producing a substantial amount of Cross sections and we should present them with our company drawing layout. thanks for your advices, Guglielmo

Exporting/Extracting Multiple Unclipped Meshes from a Geological Model
Does anyone else have this problem? I think this would be a great (and hopefully simple) change to Leapfrog Geo! Extracting or exporting multiple
unclipped surfaces from geological models. Currently to extract an unclipped
surface you have to do it individually as the "Extract clipped mesh"
tick box is only available there…

Bulk export younger surface vertices from GMs?
Is there a way to get the younger surface vertices from GM output volumes easily? Due to circumstances out of my control, I need to export the vertices of the younger surfaces of output volumes from my geological model. Right now I do this in two steps for each surface: extract younger surface mesh, then extract vertices.…

projecting block model onto pit wall
is there a simple way to view blocks as they lay on a pit wall. i've made a geologic model that codes blocks between topo and 80ft below topo, and pushed that evaluation into my grade model so that I can filter and display the blocks using it...but that seems a workaround.

Importing cross sections into LF geothermal
I am trying to upload cross section PNG images into my model, but I keep getting this error. My cross section runs E-W which inherently means that its on the same North line, but leapfrog won't process my image if there are any duplicate XYZ coordinates. How do I import an E-W cross section into my landscape?

Borehole labels for Cross Section
In the cross section that I am making, there are conflicting labels. In leapfrog version 3, the labels can be shifted easily. However, since the update to leapfrog 4.0.2, I can no longer shift the labels? Any advice on this would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

creating finite faults
I'm trying to create a finite fault for my geological model, but no matter what I do Leapfrog extends the fault all the way out to my GM boundaries. I created my fault by drawing a polyline (to the correct length) but then when the GM creates it as a fault plane, it suddenly extends out. The only YouTube help there is, is…

Developing an open pit quarry for Leapfrog Geo
Hello, I'm wondering if there is a software program that works easily with Leapfrog that can generate an open quarry pit quarry, based on the surfaces generated in Leapfrog? Basically we want to be able to export our geological model to another software program, draw a quarry around the unit we want to extract, and import…
