Error with GXC Version 2026.1 (20260610.24)

I have set of GX's - all compiled correctly using latest Geosoft Desktop, but I have a strange error on using GXC with the new version -

no issue on using first GRC (as "grc example.grc"), but on step 2: GXC ("gxc example.gxc") reports an error [Unable to run the Geosoft Preproccesor (GPP.EXE).] and just display the help of GPP(?)

Any idea of the issue?

@SandTeam @BAYEGUIIgor @TimNixon1 tagging you in case you’ve come across this before.. any ideas on what might be causing the GXC/GPP error with 2026.1? Appreciate any insight!

This issue will be addressed in the next release. In the meanwhile the workaround is to downgrade to 2025.2.1.
