Hi all, could someone help me with the calculation of Dogleg Severity (DLS)?

I have tried different methods (Radius of Curvature and Tangential) but I can't seem to reproduce the DLS calculation shown in Leapfrog.

If someone could walk me through an example using the values from the table, I would really appreciate it.

    Hi,

    I am not clear why but the calculation on the left seems to be incorrect. I get a DLS of 1.8 for 30 unit lengths with the numbers on the left. The one on the right checks out with a DLS of 6 for 100 units. A quick check is to take 30/100*6 = 1.8.
