Complex Soil Behavior Modeling in Sigma/w

Hello. I am attempting to model the stability of a dam with a salty material that dissolves into the water seeping through it. It is a complex issue as I am not entirely sure of the resultant behavior of the material caused by seepage. I've attempted some makeshift methods of modeling the behavior in Sigma/W but am not yielding results that seem correct. I have been searching for YouTube tutorials and other resources but have been unable to find anything very effective at teaching for GeoStudio 2025. Does anyone know of a good resource to check out to learn more than just "first-time use" concepts on Sigma/W?

    Hi @WyattSmith, this is an interesting and unique case.

    You can find SIGMA/W example files in the Seequent Learning Center here: https://lms.seequentlearning.com/ Click on Resources at the top, and search SIGMA/W. You can download the zip file and see the various examples to learn how to perform different analyses.

    It sounds like you may also need SEEP/W for seepage modeling and possibly SLOPE/W for the slope stability analysis. You can find free courses that are several hours long on SEEP/W and SLOPE/W in the Learning Center, as well as example files for both of them.
