With more than 35 years of international experience across underground and surface mining operations, Jofree has worked on projects spanning multiple commodities and regions around the world.
What types of projects interest you most?
"I find it particularly rewarding to help advance projects from the conceptual stage through pre-feasibility, feasibility, detailed design, and ultimately into operations."

"Geological and geotechnical models should be continuously revisited and critically evaluated as new data becomes available, since updated information may support a revised interpretation."
What first sparked your interest in geoscience?
"I studied mining engineering and became interested in rock mechanics. What has kept me engaged ever since is the opportunity to apply what I've learned in practice while continuing to learn through each new challenge."
