Leapfrog Geo 2025.3.1 movie export fail

Greetings community,

While attempting to export a movie referencing a relatively large geological model and the corresponding block model, the process consistently fails at around 52% with the following error:

NVIDIA OpenGL Driver
Unable to recover from a kernel exception. The application must close.
Error code: 3 (subcode 7)

I have updated the Nvidia driver to the latest iteration, running a Nvidia RTX Pro 2000 (8GB GPU) on a brand new Dell.

Has anyone encounter this before? If I don't want to take anything scenes or components of the scenes out (namely the blockmodel), is there any particular Leapfrog settings I can modify to make this work?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Hawkin,
Have you tried exporting the film at the lowest resolution and quiality to see if that works? Try 640 x 480 with Standard quality, and do not tick the box saying "Export frame images".
If that works, then it may be your video buffer (VRAM) getting full and not letting the project complete.
You could then try to increase the resolution bit by bit to get the highest quality possible.
The last resort would be to save the Movie file as one name (Movie 1), then save again as Movie 2. In Movie 1, cut out the scenes and transitions from the second half of the file and in Movie 2 remove the first half scenes.
Export Movie 1 and Movie 2 separately and re-combine in a free editing software such as Camtasia.
    Cheers, John
