Deleted duplicate hole still lingering in mxdeposit

Hi all, i have a problem in mxd with my sample ids, so i deleted a duplicate hole and now the original hole samples table is saying mxdeposit sample number must be unique, collar 'copy of hole' already contains a sample number 'kd10024', any ideas on how to resolve this?
