Removal of Line Artifacts

Hello everyone,
My gravity data has been previously levelled but I observe noises that could be line artifacts since they seem to be following the survey lines. I don't have the line levelling extension to use. Based on several references, this could be improved by applying directional cosine filter. However, the filter seems to affect the geological structures as well. Is there any other way to remove the noise? FYI, figure below shows the available extension.

Hi SyifaSukri,
The best option to apply levelling would be the Geophysics levelling option under the Oasis montaj Acquisition bundle.
The directional cosine filter you mentioned, can be used for Decorrugation of poorly levelled magnetic data. To eliminate signal of this nature, first pass all signal along the azimuth angle perpendicular to the flight direction. The output will contain all wavelengths in this predominant direction. Next, apply a high-pass Butterworth filter on this output to isolate the wavelength equal and shorter than 2 line spacing. You may have to adjust this cut-off . The resulting output should contain the majority of the corrugated signal in the direction normal to the flight lines. Finally, subtract this grid from the initial input grid to attenuate the line to line corrugation.
Again, if your data is not already levelled, your best option is to use the Geophysics Levelling first. If you have further questions, please don't hesitate to reach out to Support@Seequent.com
