Select lithology colours in a combined model of a tunnel

Hi LF community,

I've made a Combined Model of a twin tunnel to show the lithology inside it. The colour legend is the same as the BH's intervals.

When trying to separate the tunnels to build a combined model of each one individually, the colouring of each unit is not the same as the "original" ones.

Is there a possibility to select a particular colouring set from the "mother" GM, or from the collar survey?

Many thanks, and happy holidays to all!

Hi @OriolGelizo If the lithologies in the sub-model are labeled the same, you can export a color map from the sub-model (or the original/mother model) and apply it to the new models. Super handy!

Check out the step-by-step process in the help guide here: Color Maps Help Guide

  • Hi Prachi,

thanks for your help. But unfortunately your solution does not work for me.

When I build a Combined model, Leapfrog Works creates another "lithology column" which is a sum of the columns of both sub-models. In other words, if I have a lithology column A from the Sub-model 1, and a different lithology column B from the Sub-model 2, the lithology column of the resulting Combined Model will be A+B.

In fact, the resulting combined lithology becomes a different one, so when trying to import the used colour map from the submodels, Leapfrog does not recognize it as a valid colour map.

A good solution would be to have the option to select one of the lithologies from the sub-models.

    Regards.
