Leapfrog Geo just stall and stop processing

Hi All,

Have any of you had experience when running Leapfrog and Leapfrog seems to stop even though it says processing but without that running bar? I just remove one drillhole and the task to process is 1.7K. After four hours, there is 256 tasks remaining when it stalled. I re-start, shut down my laptop but it did not help. I also assign one task as priority and select priority only, it did not help either. Actually, this is not the first time. Normally I just re-create the project, but I have deadline, and this is getting too much. I also clean the screen in case takes up much memory and check the Task Manager, the CPU was not doing anything for Leapfrog even though it says 'processing'.

My laptop specs in case you want to know is AMD Ryzen 7 5800H (16 CPU's), 3.2GHz with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, RAM 64GB.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Regards,

Wawan

    Hi Wawan,

I'm sorry you are experiencing this with your project. With most things in the project being built off borehole data, changing something in the borehole table can cause a lot of subsequent reprocessing.

Leapfrog processing time can be affected by a number of things:
    - Have you installed the latest version of Leapfrog?
    - The system requirements are not met by your PC
    - The location of where the project is saved. If on a network or external drive this can cause slowness (and possible project corruption).

You are very welcome to email us at support@seequent.com and we can investigate why it is taking so long to process.

If you send your system info and Leapfrog logs into us at the support team we can ask our engineers to look over them and see if there is anything they can spot that may be causing this. We could also send you an upload link so that our engineers can run a health check on your project and make sure there are no troublesome objects slowing things down.

We will look forward to hearing from you.

    Kind regards,

    Annabel
