Can someone help me with the drawing of this section?

Its a drill, was a question from my Genesis test…

I (So=180/15) = V (So=010/60) = succession of carbonaceous siltstones, sandstones, limestones, rhyolites, and ignimbrites.

II=IV (S=175/70) = rock composed of kaolinite + quartz + pyrite with structural Au (gold).

III (S=175/70) = rock composed of vuggy quartz + [KA13(SO4)2(OH)6] + enargite + native Au (gold).

(115m) = listric normal fault (S=180/60).

VI = phaneritic rock composed of quartz + K-feldspar + biotite + magnetite + chalcopyrite + native Au (gold).

VII (S=178/85) = phaneritic rock composed of quartz + oligoclase + hornblende + K-feldspar.

V1 = quartz containing two-phase aqueous fluid inclusions + halite (H2O liquid + H2O gas + NaCl solid) and one-phase carbonic inclusions (CO2 + CH4 gas).

V2 = quartz containing polyphase aqueous-carbonic fluid inclusions (H2O liquid + H2O gas + CO2 liquid + CO2 gas + NaCl solid).

Consider that the drillhole has a dip/dip = 000/70.

  • Hi Frederico, thanks for reaching out to the community.
    I am not too sure I understand how we can help you.
    Do you need to create a model with different structures and then create a drill hole in the model to see how it would appear in it? Could you bring us a bit more context?

    Thanks a lot

  • Hi ElisabethPoiz

    Yes, I tried to create a model with different dips and I failed. I want to see how it would appear in it. The question gives a drill hole and asks us to draw a section N-S from it.

  • Thanks for getting back to us.
    Can you, please, download an image of your drillhole so we can see how we can help you with the different dips?

    Thanks
