    Hello!

Thank you very much for contacting our Community.

To explain why the interpolation is being performed in that manner, we need to verify the type of interpolator you are using (we have extensive information on this here: https://help.seequent.com/Geo/2024.1/en-GB/Content/geo-models/surface-chronology.htm).

Additionally, I have attached a PDF showing the types of surfaces (https://help.seequent.com/Geo/2024.1/en-GB/LeapfrogGeoSurfaceTypes.pdf).

Depending on the interpolator, you can review the type of contacts the program is using, the direction of maximum continuity, and the ellipsoid it uses. For example, in your case, it appears that a more oblate ellipsoid is required.

Please contact Seequent Technical Support (support@seequent.com) so you can show us the workflow and resolve any doubts.

    Best regards

  • i, thanks for responding. I primarily use the deposit interpolator. I aim to model it as a sheet for every soil layer. But I'm still confused. Is there any step for making the surface flat not skewed? I already tried the ellipsoid and direction on the trend tab, but still no result.
