Leapfrog Works: How to limit the extent of a deposit from offset surface, using polylines

Hi there

I want to create a thin superificial deposit and thought that this is best done by a "New deposit" or "New erosion"… "From offset surface", using the topography.

This gives me a surface layer which extends along the complete topography. But I want it to be present only in some areas and I have polylines which give this extent.

Question: How do I get Leapfrog to limit the extent of the surface layer?

Thanks for your help, Manfred

    Hello,

First, take a 2D cross-section from the surface you have created. Then, select the polyline from the edit tool in the surface layer and place points on the topography in the areas you want to limit (place them outside of the boundary) using the point tool on the 2D polyline. Afterwards, double-click on the surface and turn off the boundary filter in the surfacing settings.
