Calculation of the reduced-to-pole magnetic field over a large region

How can I calculate the reduced-to-pole magnetic field using a single inclination and declination over a large region, e.g. entire country? Is it possible? If its possible does it give satisfactory results?

    Options
    suggest trying inclination and declinations for a few locations at extremities of your region and comparing results. depends where your study area is - need to factor in any interpretation. If your doing quantitative work, better to use TMI.
