AGC filter values

Hi all,
I am trying to apply Automatic Gain Correction (AGC) to our magnetic data. I am not sure which values I should use for "Filter size" and the "Maximum Gain Correction"? I have already tried different values but so far gridded results does not differ from each other. I appreciate any comments here.
