Irregular Polygon Dimension Calculation

I have a shape file with 1300 irregular shaped polygons - generally orientated the same direction and are long and thin. Please see attached file for an example. I wish to calculate the maximum width of the polygon and if possible the length of a mid-line of the polygon. I have tried using Minimum Bounding Geometry tool and it doesn't produce what I want. I am making the assumption that someone may have come across this issue before. Thank you in advance

    Hi @KennethWalsh, Geosoft doesn't have any tool that will calculate the length of a polygon automatically. You could try posting your question in the Esri community. There could be an ArcMap tool to do this.
