TGDG Presents: Creating a Microbial Toolbox for the Mining Industry

On Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 4:00pm - 5:00pm Toronto EST, the Toronto Geological Discussion Group will be hosting a presentation by Dr. Lesley Warren, Claudette MacKay-Lassonde Chair in Mineral Engineering in the Department of Civil and Mineral Engineering at the University of Toronto. The talk will focus on how the application of biogeochemistry to mining impacted waters, waste impoundments, and reclamation projects is being used to develop new knowledge that will drive biologically informed tools and solutions critically needed by the industry.
