Ternary Map Challenge: Put your learnings into practice
In today’s session, we’ll explore how to turn raw radiometric data into something clean, reliable, and ready for interpretation. Then it’ll be your turn to put those skills into action with a fun, creative ternary map challenge!
Your challenge (should you choose to accept it) is to create a ternary map in Oasis montaj using one of the existing datasets already available.
Here’s how to participate:
• Download your demo data: Pick any of the existing public domain datasets from within Oasis montaj. (I'll show you how to find this!)
• Build your ternary map: Make sure your map is clear, well presented, and of course, colourful!
• Share your map: Take a screenshot of your map and post it in the comments below.
If you want to go the extra mile, include a sentence on what your map highlights (e.g. trends, anomalies, domains, or relationships).
We’ve got Seequent merchandise packs up for grabs for the first x10 ternary maps posted.
Give it a go! I’m excited to see what you come up with.

Hi Geoff, has the meeting link for today been shared yet? Or where can I find it if it has already been shared?

Hello, thank you for your reply.
Yes, I have already registered. I tried again to be sure, and it tells me that my email address has already been registered.
This is my email address: gamoran@cel.gob.sv
However, I have not received any email with the link to the meeting.
Thank you for your help.

hello @PrachiChitkara
Since earlier today, I have been unable to connect to the webinar “Oasis montaj Mastery Series | Session 1 | Full spectrum to confident interpretation: Radiometric processing in Oasis montaj” (Webinar ID: 559-141-955).
Despite using the provided unique link and checking my system requirements, the connection still does not work. Could you please advise on how to resolve this issue or provide an alternative way to access the session (or the recording)?
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards,
Igor Bayegui0 -
Hi @BAYEGUIIgor,
Thank you for letting us know. We're sorry about that! We will look into this from our side to see how we might fix this for the future.
We are going to be sharing the recording (with chapter markings) to all registrants so please keep an eye out for that via email and linked on the Community group here.1 -
Thank you for the webinar!!!
Here is a ternary map of the Minas Gerais region in Brazil!!!

Thanks for the talk today Geoff,
Not super pretty - partly covers the Breckenridge radiometric test area near Ottawa, Ontario (bottom left corner). Certainly captures the lows in black over the rivers and some changes in the signal between the valley areas and the Gatineau hills. I should search for a higher res grid… :)6 -

Not looking for a second prize pack - just feeling bad my first map was not much to look at especially compared to Minas Gerais … so here is the Oka carbonatite!
