Economic composite
Hello team,
I hope someone can help me with my issue.
I created composites in Geosoft using the following parameters: a minimum composite grade of 0.5 g/t, a minimum composite length of 2 m, and a maximum internal dilution length of 2 m. Then I imported the table into Leapfrog and tried to reproduce the same compositing there. However, I don’t know why, but some of the composites are not the same. I have tried adjusting all the parameters, but without success. Can someone help me understand what is causing this difference?

Hi Charles,
I have been playing with this too and noticed different outputs between datamine macros and Leapfrog. In your third figure are the gaps missing intervals or do you have a filter applied? I have found that Leapfrog treats missing intervals as 0g/t while other software's treat the missing interval as "null" meaning they don't count towards the max included waste. You can change the fixed value in Leapfrog but it cant be set to null:
