Will Leapfrog Geo have a tool for evaluating interval tables or point data with a block model ¿?

Will it happen some day ¿? It'd be great for those who don't have access to other softwares like MapTek's and are more comfortable with Leapfrog. Thanks!

It would be great if Leapfrog could add these features in future updates, especially for users who don’t have access to other software0

Hi Ben and Nagi,
We do have an existing feature request to be able to evaluate block models on to drilling data as well as extracting block models to points which could be useful. I can put a vote to these for you to give them a bump.
We do have a workaround for evaluating a block model onto drilling data and it should also work for evaluating onto points. You to do this by creating a geological model from your block model.
- Right-click on your Block model in the project tree > New Grid surface. Choose your block model units in turn and they will appear in the 'surfaces' subheading of your Block model in the project tree.
- Create your Geological model from these newly created surfaces, using 'None' as your base lithology column.
- Right-click on your drillholes in the project tree > New evaluation table. Choose your newly created Geological model.
This method keeps it 'dynamic' so if the block model changes, the new GM will also change and in turn the evaluation on the drillholes.
I hope this helps,
Annabel
