Geological Model Boundaries
Good afternoon, I'm Cristhian, and I would like to ask if it is possible to define the limits of a geological model with a rotated geometry. I mean, I want to limit my model with a box that is rotated with respect to the X, Y, Z Cartesian system.

Hi Cristhian!
It is not possible to set rotation to the GM box. Nevertheless it is possible to rotate your Block Model box to better adjust to the geological trend.2

Hi Cristhian,
You could also try adding a lateral extent to your geological model boundary. You can define this as a closed polyline with vertical walls.

Building on what Brennan said, here is an example that could help give you some ideas.
It's not exactly covering what you asked for in this case.
Bottom line, all geological models start at a box, waiting for you to bring forth the shapes needed. Very similar to a marble statue maybe… :D
