How we can open the .mdl file which was exported from Leapfrog as block model in surpac, and similerly .dm file in surpac.
I am writing regarding the issue we are facing while exporting the Leapfrog block model into Surpac format.
I have already tried several approaches at my end with the help of some colleagues, but we were not successful. Subsequently, I contacted Seequent Support under ticket number MySeequent - 00300745. Mr. John from the support team assisted us extensively, and we were able to export the file in Surpac .mdl format. However, we could not validate the exported file because John did not have access to a Surpac license for testing, so the case remained unresolved.
After that, I contacted the Surpac support team and shared the exported files for verification. Unfortunately, the block model is still not opening correctly in Surpac. When checking the model properties in Surpac, it is showing only a single block. Their team suggested that there may be a backend issue during the export process from Leapfrog.
Your support in resolving this matter at the earliest would be highly appreciated.

@JamesLally @MaciejMaciejewski @JustinGlanvill1Have any of you encountered something similar, or worked with exporting block models between different platforms? If so, any insights, troubleshooting suggestions, or lessons learned would be helpful!
Thanks in advance for any guidance you can share!

I encountered this issue lately, one of the issues is that Surpac does not accept a block model with Dom attribute. Also, sub-blocked models are hardly accepted, so i think you need to export the sub-blocked model to any other software that can accept Leapfrog's sub-blocked model, like studio op, then you can export this file to Surpac. This way worked with me.
