You've been given new borehole data for your project - what now?
When adding new drilling data to your Leapfrog Works project, do you use Reload Boreholes or Append Boreholes? Choosing the right one can save you a lot of headaches!
Here’s a quick guide:
Use RELOAD Boreholes when:
Your new data file (e.g., collars_updated.csv) contains both your original data and the new boreholes. Leapfrog will add the new data and update any changes to the existing data.
Use APPEND Boreholes when:
Your new data file contains only the new boreholes that have never been in the project before.
After reloading, you may get errors on your collar table if the new collars haven't been projected to the topography. Just right-click the collar object and use Set Elevation to fix it!
Choosing the right tool ensures your dynamic model updates smoothly without creating duplicate data or errors.
