How can i quickly trace along a section line of benches in order for me to export in 2D and use it for stability analysis.

    Depends what format you need the resulting lines in.

    First option - create a Section along the line you need, then make a new Layout and add in the pit meshes to get the lines that intersect with that section. The Layout can then be exported to an SVG vector graphics file that you can bring into any vector editor program. This will only be in local 'page' scale though.

    Second option if you want to preserve real coordinates - make a vertical mesh along the section (easiest is to draw a vertical plane along the section line and right-click under Mesh and select "moving plane"). Then go to GIS Line and make a new line From Intersecting Meshes, selecting the vertical plane and your pit mesh. On the resulting GIS line, right-click to Extract Polyline, and that polyline can be exported as a DXF with real coordinates preserved.
