Airborne QC extension methods in gxapi / gxpy?
Short version: Can I use Airborne QC extension methods through gxapi or gxpy?
Longer version:
So I have access to Oasis montaj's airborne QC extension as seen from this code (10107 =
"Airborne Quality Control"):
I am not, however, able to find any methods related to this extension neither in gxapi nor gxpy. Are they available?
For example. I see in GXDU documention that there is a method called qc_init_separation that seems to have something to do with line separation QC and then there is a reference to QCSeparation_DU:
So I made (or AI at least) a piece of code that goes through every class in gxapi and gxpy and trying to find method called QCSeparation_DU without success. Where is QCSeparation_DU located?

If you have access to Airborne QC menu in oasis montaj, you will have access to any methods that are used by the Airborne QC scripts (GXC, GXDOTNET, GXPY) that are part of the extension, even if you call the methods from a gxpy script outside of oasis montaj.
That said the methods are just building blocks for existing scripts and the extension is meant to give you access to domain specific scripts. The fact that certain methods that are used by scripts from certain extensions are behind a special subscription is just a side-effect.
Regarding
QCSeparation_DUIspecifically, I can confirm that is a mistake in the documentation. There is no such method, and I can tell you that that note is likely a mistake and reflects an older version of the API. qc_init_separation has a C++ equivalent called QCInitSeparation_DU that is usedqcsep.gxcwithoutQCSeparation_DUI1 -
Thanx for your answer SerbanMarin1.
I am not sure, however, if I got any closer to an answer to my question although. I don't find (for example) any method in gxapi documentation that would do flight path deviation QC what is certainly part of Airborne QC extension. Would you (someone?) be able to comment: can I do airborne QC from gxapi or gxpy or not? For example, where is method for flight path deviation located? Or am I missing now something?
I am able to script flight path deviation QC in .gs and run it in Oasis montaj, but that's not what I am after now.

Unfortunately GXDeveloper methods were not designed with this in mind. The methods are generally low level and generic. Occasionally there is a method that end up performing the bulk of an existing GX, but most of the time the methods themselves are for basic things.
The value of the Airborne QC extension is inside the .gx files and .NET gx dlls, but this is already compiled code. This is the code that executes when you run a tool from the menus in OM.
You can still run these from your python script by using GXSYS.run_gx. You just need to setup the input properties via GXSYS.set_string first. Here is a basic example:
Hope this helps

Hi SerbanMarin1,
Yes, this was somwhat helpful, I was able to do dbmerge with it. But let's say that I want to run xyzstat.gx which runs statistics for a given channel in current database. How can I set database as current in standalone Python script (i.e. outside of a running Oasis montaj instance)? I find under gxapi.GXEDB.make_current() but I don't quite understand is it possible to use this in Jupyter notebook or not and if yes, how. It says that "May not be available whlie executing a command line program." Which I guess could hint that I cannot use it in Jupyter notebook?
