Master the Subsurface – Structural Modelling Challenge: Put what you’ve learnt into practice!

It’s challenge time again! After today’s Oasis montaj Mastery Session, please take part in our ‘Master the Subsurface’ challenge.

The rules are simple, but the possibilities are endless. Build a structurally complex, geologically sound, 3D model and test its geophysical signature.

Here’s how to enter:

  1. Download the demo data: Download the Oasis montaj project file here: https://seequent.sharefile.com/public/share/web-s30ddbac4d2a841b29b74ee08bf46a948 Cornwall Forward Model.gpf contains both the Master Voxel and the survey path database.
  2. Build the 3D structural model: Create your structural model (representing faults, intrusions, and geological bodies) using the provided equations. Note: Use the Master Voxel  as your building base.
  3. Run VOXI forward modelling: Open the provided VOXI project, load your newly built model as the “Starting Model”, and click “Run Forward Model”.
  4. Share your final results in the comments below!

Remember, Forward Modelling with VOXI is completely free and does not require a separate VOXI subscription.
