Seequent’s Perth Connect event brought together more than 300 mining professionals, fostering an environment of networking, knowledge sharing, and appreciation for industry advancements. It was an inspiring evening, and our Chief Customer Officer Angela Harvey wanted to take the opportunity to share some key takeaways.

Seequent Connect celebrated the launch of Seequent Evo from earlier of this year with the local Perth mining community.
At Perth Connect, Seequent Chief Executive Officer Graham Grant opened the evening, emphasising how Seequent Evo empowers the mining industry to break down barriers created by siloed and proprietary data systems. He highlighted Evo’s open architecture, which enables seamless collaboration, integration with bespoke apps, and easy data exchange, even with non-Seequent solutions.
As a testament to Evo’s openness, a highlight of the evening was the announcement of a new integration between Seequent Evo and Deswik. Deswik is a leader in mine planning and the integration streamlines workflows and enhance collaboration for resource geoscientists and engineers.
Also, included in the link is a video of a technical demonstration of our MRE workflows enabled with Seequent Evo. This includes a review of Evo’s native applications, BlockSync and Driver, and Cloud geostatistics workflows, showed not only how workflows for geological exploration and resource management can be enhanced with these bespoke mining applications, but also the power of the platform.
