why contour values are sitting on each other?

When i am increasing the font size, the contour vale is sitting on each other. Please see the attachment.

    Options
    The label digits are plotted individually so the labels can curve along a bending line; if you want to make the labels bigger, do it in the "Contour Options" dialog "label size (mm)" parameter and re-contour.

    Thank you very much Sir for your reply. I have given "label size" 10 which is max. But, when i take print of the map, the visibility of the contour values becomes less. How can i increase the label size above 10?
